Interius was among the few law firms registered in Bulgaria immediately after the 1989 events, as soon as the democratic changes opened opportunities for lawyers to set up practices of their own. Interius lawyers have been involved in drafting fundamental laws which have had a decisive bearing on the country’s economy, e.g. Decree No. 56 of 9 January 1989 on the economic activity. One of the authors of that Decree has been a partner in Interius since its foundation.
